NAPLES, Fla. — Rebecca's ladies fashion in Naples is thrilled to be reopening Monday, but wanted to ensure the safety of their customers.
They did a little research on how to disinfect their business. Robert Amick, with the Florida State Firefights Association said he had the perfect product for them.
"We are using a dry fog system where it has 100 % coverage, 360-degree coverage all the way around. Roof, floor, walls soft surfaces, shirts, hard surfaces, everything nothing can escape the dry fog we put out” said Robert Amick, Executive Director, Florida State Firefighters Association.
Amick says it's 100% safe.
“It's not a chemical, it's just product it's been water that’s been negatively charged. It's electrolyzed, negatively charged, and it seeks out single-cell organisms, it eats mold, it eats scent, it eats all viruses known to man, including COVID 19” said Amick.
Rebecca's Ladies Fasion says the safety of their customers, and their products was a concern.
“The process doesn’t take very long at all, and it's safe. The molecules go through the air, it doesn’t damage the clothing, there is no smell, and it disinfects and keeps everything in the store safe and clean” said Rebecca Lapidus, owner of Rebecca Ladies Fashion.
“Talking to the state fire marshall and they are partnered up with them, and I figured it be the highest and best use for our business”, said Michael Lapidus, owner of Rebecca Ladies Fashion.
Lapidus said the service cost 25 cents per square footage - an investment they were willing to make.
“We feel very safe and confident on Monday when we're opening up that we’ve taken every precaution and every measure to ensure the safety of our customers and our staff”, said Rebecca Lapidus.
