COLLIER COUNTY, Fla — The Collier County Sheriff's Office conducted a school bus safety operation during the first week of school.
The CCSO Traffic Unit's Aggressive Driving Unit members were able to give out seven citations for passing a stopped school bus and one citation for texting while driving.
CCSO wants to remind everyone to stop behind school buses that are picking up and dropping off students.
Pay attention to the school zone speed limits, and remember texting and driving is prohibited.
