FORT MYERS, Fla. — Individuals who are thinking about starting their own business but need some mentoring are invited to apply to the Goodwill Southwest Florida MicroEnterprise Institute, scheduled for April 19 – May 27, 2021.
The MicroEnterprise Institute is a six-week training program to help emerging entrepreneurs start new ventures and grow small businesses. Graduates complete a comprehensive training course and prepare a solid feasibility plan. They work with mentors who are successful business people, and hear from subject matter experts in areas of accounting, legal, marketing, insurance and funding.
Returning to in-person this session, classes are scheduled from 6 to 9 p.m., Monday and Thursday evenings at Hodges University, Kleist Community Room, 4501 Colonial Blvd., in Ft. Myers.
Social distancing and masks/hand sanitizer provided.
