FORT MYERS, Fla. — A teacher at Gateway Charter High School is doing a lot to help her local hospital.

Robotics and Engineering teacher Ms. Barbara Jones has been with Gateway Charter High School since 2015.

“She has a passion for seeing kids succeed and continuing to learn herself,” says Gateway Charter High School Principal, Ms. Jensen.

When she saw a need for surgical mask straps, Ms. Jones took on the challenge and began printing them.

Since April 15th, She has printed over 600 surgical mask straps for Gulf Coast Hospital, and they are requesting more.

She also has a batch for Lee Memorial.

Ms. Jones says she will keep printing them until there is no more need for them.
