CHARLOTTE COUNTY, Fla. — The Charlotte County School Board has approved to move the start date of the school year.
Board members Kim Amontree, Wendy Atkinson, Cara Reynolds, Bob Segur, and Ian Vincent unanimously voted to move the start date from August 10th to August 31st.
The board also voted on wearing masks while on school property.
That resolution was also passed.
Masks must be worn on the bus, hallways and in the classrooms.
