FORT MYERS, Fla. — The Coronavirus pandemic has shaken our nation to its core and forced us to find ways to navigate unprecedented waters. During these uncertain times, our team is focused on telling the stories that will help us as a community rebound.

But at Fox 4, we want to start looking at what comes next with life during this pandemic.

That means a lot of different things, but with so many people out of a job right now, we want to focus on something that needs urgent attention, finding work.

One week from today, several organizations will put on a virtual job fair for Southwest Florida that will feature dozens of companies and hundreds of jobs available right now.

"These are not minimum wage jobs; these are career opportunities." Said Megan Rose, Better Together.

Over the next week Fox 4 and Fox 4 Morning News Anchor Chris Shaw will hook you up with free career coaches, tips on how to ace virtual interviews, and we'll tell you what employers are looking for on your resume in the age of the coronavirus.

"Our goal is you'll walk away with hope. You'll walk away with confidence." Said Megan Rose, Better Together.

With some help from Fox 4 and Better Together, you'll have what you need to get back on track.

Fox 4 will show you how to sign up for the job fair on Friday morning and get free help from a career coach.

And we'll have tools you can use every morning, leading up to the virtual job fair next Thursday.
