FORT MYERS, Fla. — Starting this week, Millennial Brewing Co. in Fort Myers now delivers you favorite craft brews and cocktails to your front door. Their new service follows the recent lifting of the alcohol delivery ban in Florida.

The new order from Gov. Ron DeSantis is giving hope to small breweries that are feeling the negative impacts of government orders due to the coronavirus.

Owner Kyle Cebull of Millennial Brewing Co. says he saw nearly a 90% cut to his business once customers were restricted from coming inside.

They now engage customers virtually through social media and make sales through their store online.

"It changes everything, so it’s really a big deal. It’s definitely been a time where it’s required a lot of innovation. We realized really quickly that if we just sat still we weren’t going to make it," said Cebull. "We had to really put our minds toward asking ourselves what are we going to do, how are we are going to innovate, how are we going to pivot off this change and make the best of it.”

Millennial Brewing Co. started their new delivery service on Thursday.

It allows you to order your choice of local beer, frosé, or sangria bottled fresh and delivered straight to your door.
