Local pizza shop sells shirts to help another business

CAPE CORAL — A popular Southwest Florida pizza shop is doing more than just trying to keep its own doors open.

The owners are also supporting another local business.

The owners of Nice Guys Pizzaon Cape Coral Parkway are currently offering pick-up and delivery (through Grub Hub and other such services) for their locally famous pizza, drinks and other offerings.

But, they’re also helping to sell t-shirts to support a local screen printing business – Graveyard Shift Screen Printing.

The t-shirt is designed by Jake Kelly.

It features a woman and man in bathing suits and gas masks holding up slices of pizza over a pizza box that says “Keep Your Distance".

At their feet are empty bottles (they look like Corona bottles) and rolls of toilet paper.

At the bottom of the t-shirt, it says “Spring Break 2020” – a tongue and cheek reference to the season where Nice Guys, Graveyard Shift Screen Printing and so many other local businesses would normally have one of their busiest and most profitable months of the year.

But, this year is different.

It’s been a challenge for local businesses like Nice Guys and Graveyard Shift Screen Printing to keep their doors open. But, they’re finding a way.

The folks at Nice Guys say a bulk of the proceeds from the t-shirts will be supporting Graveyard Shift Printing.

The rest of the proceeds will go directly to the Nice Guys employees who’ve cut back their shifts or lost shifts altogether.

You can order the t-shirts here.

And, of course, you can contact Graveyard Shift Screen Printingdirectly if you’d like to have t-shirts printed for your group or business.

Perhaps, you can have the words “We’re Open” printed on the back of the shirts!
