A Cape Coral woman who claimed to be a maid pulled a switchblade on two people she alleges wouldn't pay for her services, according an arrest report from the Cape Coral Police Department.
Susan Bordiuk is charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon without intent to kill.
According to an arrest report, Bordiuk showed up at a home in the 1400 block of SE 3rd street and demanded a $150.00 payment for cleaning the house. However, the homeowner says he never hired Bordiuk as a maid.
"She kept on saying, 'oh, pay me then, pay me,'" said John Chmura. "There was never an agreement to pay her," he added.
Chmura claims he allowed Bordiuk to stay at his home while she was homeless. In return, Bordiuk reportedly offered to clean the house but he insists there was never a deal to pay her for housework.
According to an arrest report, Bordiuk returned to the home Thursday wielding a switchblade. She then cut through his lanai screen door, and threatened to stab his roommate.
"She pulled a knife on Annie and pointed it toward her," said Chmura.
His roommate Annie did not want to reveal her identity; she says her and Burdiuk were like best friends.
"You don't know what's going through your head when there's a 6-inch blade sticking at your throat," said Annie. She claims Bordiuk may have been using drugs and thinks she was demanding money to feed her drug habit, but says it certainly wasn't for cleaning the house.
"If this girl cleaned, it was with a pork chop," said Annie in jest. She says Bordiuk held the knife a inches from her face during the heated confrontation.
"I knew for a fact that if I made one wrong step that she was going to cut me," said Annie. She says she feels grateful to be alive, and hopes other's who are battling drug addiction will hear her story and get help before it's too late.
"There was nothing behind those eyes it was just pure evil; no regard for human life or anything," said Annie.
