UPDATE (11:15 AM) -- New information from the Cape Coral Police Department indicated that an overnight stabbing was self-inflicted.
Earlier reports claimed an unknown person stabbed the woman while wearing a Donald Trump-style Halloween mask.
Further investigation revealed the woman's injures were self-inflicted. The victim has been admitted for care under the provisions of the Baker Act. Investigators are no longer looking for a suspect in this case and there is no danger to the public at large.

CAPE CORAL, Fla. - A masked man is on the loose after police say he attacked a woman in Cape Coral while wearing a 'Donald Trump' mask.
The Cape Coral Police Department says the attack happened in the 900 block of SW 4th Avenue shortly before 11:30 Sunday night.
Police on the scene told our Breaking News Tracker crew that the woman did have minor injuries.
In an alert initially sent out by the department, police described the attack as an aggravated battery/stabbing. Police on the scene could not confirm if a stabbing occurred, however police did say that the woman had a knife with her.
It's not known if she injured her attacker who fled on foot. He's described as a white man wearing black clothing along with the mask.
Police overnight searched by ground with K-9 units and by air. The scene cleared early Monday morning.
