The first day of school is usually accompanied by nerves and stress, so one teacher was sure she had the solution to lighten the mood: a welcome-back medley of karaoke tunes in front of class.
A new viral video making the rounds, apparently recorded by a student and posted to YouTube last week, joins the performance in progress and continues for nearly 8 minutes.
The teacher uses a medley of recent pop tunes, including "Hotline Bling" and "Call Me Maybe", and changes the lyrics to back-to-school themes.
Her off-key performance, however, led to the rolling of eyes and cringing among the students, as the prospect of what could be a a long school year played out in front of them.
