LEE COUNTY, Fla. -- Some people in Cape Coral are calling an effort to ban bear hunting a "waste of time."
Last October, the state allowed bear hunting for the first time in more than 20 years. But one council member says it's time to put a ban back in place and a vote on the idea took place Monday night.
That vote called for a ban on bear hunts in Florida. They don't have any authority to stop a hunt, but want to let state wildlife officials know how they feel.
But as Four in Your Corner's Warren Wright shows us, many of you have some strong reactions to the proposal.
