NORTH NAPLES, Fla. -- Collier County is moving forward with plans to build its own walking and biking path along Vanderbilt Drive in North Naples.
The path will be 10 feet wide, and stretch 4 miles between 111th Avenue and Bonita Beach Road.
Construction will start in late September, the same time county engineers plan to also replace two bridges along Vanderbilt Drive.
The new path is replacing a sidewalk that's often crowded with pedestrians.
