LEHIGH ACRES, Fla. -- More than 24 hours after a Lehigh Acres man was gunned down inside his home, his killer is still on our streets.
Family members say the victim, Jontavious Thomas, was on his way to work Monday morning when someone shot him to death inside his garage on Adeline Avenue, then took off from the scene.
Deputies have since released a description of the suspect. He's described as about 5-9 to 5-11 with a thin build. He was last seen wearing a black hoodie and black pants.
If you know anything about this case, you're urged to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-780-TIPS.
Meanwhile, at last check deputies are still searching for the person who killed another Lehigh Acres man two weeks ago. Deputies say Bruce Faulkner -- a 31-year-old father -- was killed on January 15th during a disturbance along Chamonix Avenue South.
Family members say he was shot and killed right outside his home. But deputies have not released a suspect description in this case.
