FORT MYERS, Fla. -- The driver of a pick-up truck was hurt Wednesday when police say he tried to out drive a train.
It happened Wednesday afternoon near Hanson Street.
One witnesses described what he saw and heard. "I 'm sitting on my forklift, and the train is coming in hot. All of a sudden I see a car swerve and smash into the train," said Nick Smith.
The crash happened on Seminole Gulf Railroad Property. A spokesperson we spoke to would only say the crash is under investigation.
