LEE COUNTY, Fla. -- Lab results regarding asbestos at the site chosen for construction of Bonita Springs High School have been released.
The report states that the plot of land near Imperial Parkway and Shargri La Road is clear of any asbestos contamination.
Lee County Superintendent Dr. Gregory Adkins tells Fox 4 that he believes once the school is up and running people in the community will finally be at ease.
Construction on the school will begin in December, with anticipated completion by the 2018-19 school year.
