CAPE CORAL, Fla. -- A Cape Coral officer recently tracked down a wayward donkey that had escaped its enclosure.
Cape PD shared a photo of the animal on its Instagram page Wednesday, where they report that Officer Roody came upon "Max" after he escaped from its Eagle Road home and went "looking for greener pastures."
Max was led into a neighbor's fenced yard where Officer Roody kept him company until the donkey's owners arrived.
