JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (AP) - Some parents say they're worried a Halloween prank at a Jacksonville day care may have gone too far after video shows a volunteer in a Freddy Krueger mask running around, scaring a group of children.
WJAX-TV reports that the prank happened at Shirley's Victorious Learning Center. The owners say parents were aware of the festivities and that they've received no complaints.
A video capturing the incident has been seen online nationwide.
Day care co-owner LaVeisha Burris says the video shows only a few seconds of what happened.
She says the prank occurred during story time and that they do activities like this every holiday.
However, some parents argue that the prank was too much for children that young.
