TAMPA -- Police are on the hunt for at least a dozen robbers after they were caught on camera stealing cars from a city dealership.
This happened early Friday morning when eight vehicles were driven right out of the "Prespa Auto Sales" lot in Tampa.
The owner believes the thieves staked out the lot well in advance and planned the whole thing. Surveillance video shows two people going through his office and grabbing car keys.
The owners says eight cars are gone, and at least fourteen seriously damaged. "They got into my office and they found the keys. They took the keys to the cars that they wanted to steal from the lot," says owner Danny Halimi. "I think they staked us out and planned it...I blame myself a little bit. I've learned a lot now. One of the major issues is never leave the keys here any longer."
Two of the eight vehicles have been recovered, but each suspect is still on the loose.
