ORLANDO, Fla. (AP) - An Orlando woman wanted on suspicion of shooting a pregnant woman in Parramore has turned herself in at police headquarters.
Media outlets report 31-year-old Latoya Jackson faces charges of attempted homicide and aggravated assault with a firearm in the shooting of 29-year-old Tiara White on Monday. Police say White and the baby are expected to be OK.
Orlando Police tweeted that Jackson turned herself in Wednesday.
White told police Jackson had been messaging her on Facebook saying she had been having sex with the father of White's child. A police report says Jackson and two other women confronted White armed with a machete, bats and a chain. White and her friends were walking home when a car drove up and White was shot.
It wasn't immediately clear if Jackson has an attorney.
