Agents warn of 'super pill' selling on streets

ORLANDO, Fla. (AP) - State law enforcement officials are warning about a dangerous "super pill" selling on the streets of Orlando.

Agents with the Florida Department of Law Enforcement said Tuesday that the pill seems like a painkiller to users but contains deadly levels of fentanyl.

Fentanyl is an opiate that is used to relieve pain.

The FDLE's Orlando laboratory recently has seen not-legally-prescribed drugs containing dangerous amounts of fentanyl or fentanyl mixed with other drugs like Percocet, Xanax and Oxycodone.

FDLE agents say the drugs look like regular prescription pain killers.

They say consumers shouldn't buy drugs on the streets and should get them from licensed pharmacies.
