Shooting suspect in Lehigh Acres store arrested

LEHIGH ACRES, Fla. -- A man is behind bars after shooting at a store owner in Lehigh Acres.

It happened just before 2 p.m. Thursday at Caribbean Cycles, located at 322 Gunnery Road S.

Marvins Labissiere, 22, became agitated during a conversation with the business owner and was asked to leave, according to a report.

Moments later, Marvins pulled out a gun from his waistband and shot at the owner.

Fortunately, he was not struck.

Marvins was tracked down Friday afternoon at State Road 82 and Haviland Avenue in Lehigh and booked into the jail around 4 p.m.

He is facing charges with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and shooting into a dwelling.

Marvins also has four prior arrests for two counts of battery and two counts of driving with a suspended or revoked license.
