A Russian martial arts school says selfie sticks can come in handy when fending off a mugger or robber.
Now the school is offering a selfie stick defense class!
An instructor says sticks have been used in martial arts and combat techniques for centuries ... and that the selfie stick is not much different than those weapons.
You're average citizen is much more likely to be packing a selfie stick than a traditional martial arts weapon.
Instructors at the school says it takes about five days to master selfie stick defense.
