Within an hour after the evacuation order was lifted, residents began streaming into the Naples RV Resort off Beck Boulevard Wednesday night.
Deputies evacuated them hastily Tuesday afternoon, as a 7,000 acre brush fire closed in on the community.
"I was shocked, I didn't think it was going to get that close, it got right up to the trailer," said Dustin Hutchinson.
Hutchinson and others dousing embers and flames around the edge of the property.
"Some of it's still smoky, so we're taking the hoses and putting it out," he said.
No homes in the neighborhood were damaged.
