LEE COUNTY, Fla. -- Detectives have made four arrests in connection to a home burglary in the Gateway area of Fort Myers this weekend. The suspects had been seen in surveillance images attempting to use a credit card stolen from the home.
The burglary took place early Saturday morning at a home on Meadow Pine Lane. The burglars entered the house's garage and stole a purse, laptop and tools.
Tuesday morning four suspects were booked into the Lee County Jail for the crime:
- 31-year-old Michael Zeff, a registered convicted felon who’s been booked 12 times for a string of burglaries
- 37-year-old Robert Aponte, arrested 17 times before on charges of burglary, grand theft, dealing in stolen property and forgery
- 22-year-old Stephanie Horton, previously incarcerated eight times on narcotics and theft related charges
- 29-year-old Kimberly Sandy, who has five priors for prostitution, drugs and battery
Aponte and Zeff and both being held without bond, while Horton and Sandy will have an opportunity to post bail.
