CAPE CORAL, Fla. -- Dozens of community members repelling off the side of the Westin Cape Coral Resort, to raise funds for the programs at The Heights Center and The Heights Foundation.

Organizers say this is the second annual event, with a goal of raising one hundred thousand dollars. These funds would be used to continue vital after school and summer programs for the kids of Southwest Florida.

"When the kids are out of school, to have them come to the center and continue to learn, do computers, we have a culinary arts program which the kids and young professionals come together and learn how to cook and do other things, so it's a great organization. It does a lot of good for the community" says Jan - Erik Hustrulid, a Board Chair.

A total of 54 people went "Over The Edge". The Heights Foundation says this is one of their favorite fundraisers of the year.
