SANIBEL, Fla. -- Crews from two conservation organizations were busy tending to a stranded dolphin Monday morning.

Volunteers with the Sanibel-Captiva Conservation Foundation and the Clinic for Rehabilitation of Wildlife (CROW) worked to help a dolphin that was found stranded on Sanibel.

There’s no word yet on why the dolphin came ashore.

We are waiting to hear back from CROW about the dolphin's status.

We will be sure to let you know.
