COLLIER COUNTY, Fla. -- Check out the 2nd huge python caught in Collier County this week!

Florida Fish and Wildlife says another hunter captured a huge Burmese python as part of the state's program to remove the invasive snakes.

FWC posted this picture of the lastest catch. The hunter, George Perkins, caught the 17-foot, 9-inch, 121 pound snake in Big Cypress National Preserve.

That’s the same length and 40 pounds heavier than another python caught in the same preserve earlier this week by hunter Kevin Reich.

Python Action Team members have removed an impressive 147 invasive snakes so far this month. Find out how you can be a part of the Python Action Team: http://bit.ly/2XEPJiD
