CLEARWATER, Fla. -- A beached dolphin that was rescued on Sanibel last week now has a name perfect for the holidays.
Rudolph the Rough-toothed Dolphin is going through rehab at the Clearwater Marine Aquarium, and they’ve shared brand new video of him.
FWC transported the juvenile dolphin to the facility on Monday.
Vets say he is getting around the clock care, and he has been responsive and alert since he arrived. That is really good news for his recovery.
He will eventually be released back to the wild when he is better.
