NAPLES, Fla. -- The Naples Zoo is celebrating the birth of a critically endangered eastern bongo calf.

A four-year-old bongo named Amara gave birth to a male calf last week.

The zoo says 2019 was the biggest baby boom they've seen, with 15 live births.

The births included bongo calves, clouded leopard kittens, black and green poison dart frogs, red-ruffed lemur babies, and African lion cubs.
