A quacky rescue for Cape Coral officers!
They were walking out to their vehicles at the department when they heard pleas for help, but not the human kind.
Officer Ross, Lieutenant Donakowski and K-9 Officer Scrobe saw a duckling trapped in the storm drain.
Officer scrobe jumped down into the drain and rescued two little ducklings.
Unfortunately, the mother could not be found.
Sergeant Matlock took the ducklings to an animal hospital for treatment.
They're now over at CROW on Sanibel!
