Florida Fish and Wildlife has updated the Florida Panther mortality rate.
There have been three panther deaths in July and fifteen total since the beginning of the year.
The remains of a five-year-old uncollared female Florida panther were found on July 22, 2019, on Golden Gate Blvd. The cause of death was a vehicle collision.
The remains of an 11-month-old uncollared female panther were collected on July 26, 2019, on SR82 near Homestead Rd. The cause of death was a vehicle collision.
