Southwest Florida Congressman Rooney has invited FEMA, NOOA, and the Environmental Protection Agency to join him in a roundtable on the damaging impact of harmful
algae blooms.
He also welcomed other federal agencies to join the discussion.
Rooney stated, "We must make sure the federal government is as prepared for future outbreaks as they are with other natural disasters."
Romney said an official date and location would be announced soon and Southwest Florida community leaders and officials will also be invited to the roundtable.
