GOLDEN GATE, Fla. -- Collier County deputies are now stepping up patrols near Golden Terrace Elementary in Golden Gate, and the school is now issuing fliers to parents, urging them and their kids to be vigilant.

This as deputies continue to search for the man who reportedly targeted a 5th-grader who was on his way to school this week.

Deputies say the 10-year-old boy was riding his bike on 44th Terrace SW when the suspect stopped him and told him to get in his car.  They say the suspect was speaking both English and Creole at the time.

If you know anything about this case, call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-780-TIPS.
