Mayor Buddy Dyer addressed the crowd, saying despite the world media focus on this horrible hate crime, Orlando will not be defined by it.
"We will be defined by our love and unity."
The mayor added that the city will be opening an Orlando family assistance center which will be staged at the camping world stadium.
