One person is dead after walking out into oncoming traffic in Collier County overnight Saturday into Sunday.
The Florida Highway Patrol said it happened around midnight near the corner of US-41 and Thomasson Lane.
Troopers said the victim started crossing US-41 just as the driver was entering the intersection.
Charges are pending.
