FORT MYERS, Fla.-- NFL player, Nate Allen, is moving forward with suing Fort Myers Police after they wrongly arrested him a and tried charging him with a crime he didn't commit.
In February of 2015, police kept Allen in custody for hours before recommending the State Attorney charge him for indecent exposure.
Allen's attorney filed a lawsuit on his behalf. Allen is also suing former Police Chief Doug Baker as well as Jaquelyn Garret and Audenia Thomas.
