FORT MYERS, Fla. -- Construction is now complete on a controversial roundabout project in South Fort Myers. It's been built at the intersection of Crystal Drive and Plantation Road.
The project, which cost taxpayers about $760,000, took about three months to complete.
The county approved these plans years ago, and the roundabout is meant to reduce crashes at the intersection.
Fort Myers city leaders are expected to discuss controversial roundabout designs for 12 more intersection in Lee County.
