BONITA SPRINGS, Fla. - Brand new documents released on Tuesday in the murder of Dr. Teresa Sievers reveal that her husband, Mark Sievers, was allegedly involved in planning his wife's murder.

We've learned that Teresa's husband Mark offered to pay Jimmy Rodgers to kill her so that Mark could collect almost $4.5 million in life insurance money.
The girlfriend of one of the men accused, Jimmy Rodgers, told police that laying in bed one night he confessed to killing Teresa with a hammer.
According to the documents, a friend and fellow doctor found Teresa in her home after she didn't show up for work. She was in her kitchen, faced own, the back of her head bashed in.
The documents also detail marital problems between Teresa and Mark, Mark saying they were trying to rekindle their relationship, but both had partners outside the marriage, experimenting with swinging.
Even with all of this newly released information, Mark Sievers has not been charged with his wife's murder.
