A second person has died from COVID-19 in Lee County.
That's according to a statement from from Lee Health.

Here's the statement that was released.
"Lee Health is saddened to announce the second death from COVID-19 of a patient in our care. Our heart goes out to the family as they mourn the loss of their loved one."
The Florida Department of Health says this is a previously-announced positive case.
The person was 77 years old. The department also says this was not a travel-related case.
