SCHOOL CLOSINGS
- FGCU announced it will shift their classes online. This will be effective March 15th and will end March, 29th
- In an abundance of caution, Florida SouthWestern State College will be suspending face to face classes effective Monday, March 16th through Sunday, March 22nd
EVENT CANCELLATIONS
- LIT AF tour hosted by Martin Lawrence postponed, reschedule date to be determined
- Former Vice President Joe Biden cancels Tampa rally
- 2020 New York Yankees Luncheon supporting the Boys & Girls Clubs of Tampa Bay canceled
LEE COUNTY
- Disney on ice Hertz Arena has been canceled, refund information can be found by clicking here.
- Fort Myers Beach Festival Parade and Shrimp Festival
- Chair-A-Tea event, Our Mothers Home will postpone their event
- Christ Lutheran Church in Cape Coral will be closed until the end of March.
- The Cape Coral Soccer Association will be postponing the soccer season until April 12, 2020.
- All City of Fort Myers public meetings (including all Advisory Board meetings) and non-essential meetings are suspended until further notice.
- City parks will remain open, although programs have been suspended.
- The lobby of the utility billing center will be closed until further notice. The drive-through window will be open to conduct customer transactions. Drop box payments are being accepted at the Utility Billing Center
- The city is not accepting special event permit applications until further notice
- The STARS Spring Break program is currently scheduled to continue through Friday, March 20. Field trips have been canceled. STARS cannot accommodate any additional participants at this time

- 2020 Naples Flower Show
- ALICE National Summit has been canceled due to developing COVID-19
- Ave Maria Development announces the cancellation of all special events
- Artis-Naples is suspending all programming, performances and exhibits for 30 days through April 12, 2020
- The Naples Players is choosing to postpone Bye Bye Birdie performances beginning Tuesday, March 17th out of an abundance of caution and will address the situation on a week-by-week basis
- All City meetings are canceled for the next week and half
- Collier County Sheriffs suspend teen driver challenge until further notice
- Mission 2244 Gala event that was scheduled for tonight at the Naples Grande Beach Resort will be postponed
- The Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Greater Naples has cancelled all services, programs such as their popular Forum and Progressive Voices, and meetings scheduled at their campus facilities through March 31

CHARLOTTE COUNTY
- 4th Annual Punta Gorda Sullivan Street Craft Festival Announces Cancellation
- The United Church of Christ, Punta Gorda, is suspending Sunday worship services until Sunday, April 5. Other groups, such as 12-Step meetings, primary election voting, choir practices and Bible study will continue as planned.
- Annual Adaptive Easter Egg Hunt scheduled for April 4 and the 56th Annual Easter Egg Hunt scheduled for April 11 are canceled.
- Charlotte County Chamber events canceled: Third Wednesday Coffee- March 18, Chamber Day with the Rays- March 20, Junior Leadership Charlotte Justice Day- March 23, Leadership Charlotte Arts and Humanities Session- March 26, Business Card Exchange- March 26, Junior Leadership Charlotte Graduation- March 31, Government Affairs Committee Meeting- April 6, Chamber ACTION Committee Meeting- April 7, Leadership Charlotte Media/Communications Day- April 9, Leadership Charlotte Easter Hop 5K and Fun Walk- April 11, Third Wednesday Coffee- April 15.
