NAPLES, Fla. -- A 74-year-old man is charged in a bizarre accident Wednesday night near the intersection of Immokalee and Airport Road.

"When he wouldn't move we gave him a courtesy honk," said Stephen Lombardi.

Lombardi and his friend Kevin Campanella were trying to pull out of Green Tree Center after picking up some pizza.  Even when the street was clear, the suspect, Donald Emery, didn't move.

"We pulled out, pulled in front of him to turn, at which point he proceeded to slam into the back of us," said Lombardi.

No one was hurt, but the incident didn't end there.

"As we got out, Kev was immediately calling the accident in and the guy was just staring at us and started backing away," said Lombardi.

Lombardi wouldn't let that happen.  He jumped into the suspect's vehicle, there was a brief struggle until the car came to stop at the Airport Road intersection.

"So he got out, left the car in the middle of the intersection," said Campanella.  'So its myself, Stephen sitting in the passenger seat, because the man had wet himself, he's driving from the passenger seat, so I'm pushing with another gentleman from another car."

Deputies arrested Emery who already bonded out of jail.

"I have nothing to say to you," Emory told Fox 4 after we knocked on his North Naples apartment door.

Emery was charged with having a blood alcohol level twice the legal limit at the time of the accident.
