Nearly eight pounds of pot was found after an inspector at the post office in Punta Gorda said a package seemed suspicious.
Vincente Luna was arrested by the Charlotte County Sheriff's Office and charged with possession of marijuana with intent to sell after the package being shipped to him contained vacuum-sealed bags of pot.
A postal worker notified deputies of the strange package when it arrived at the post office for processing.
Instead of opening it up to confirm their suspicions, detectives watched as the package was delivered to Luna.
When Luna left his home with the package in tow, deputies pulled him over and found the drugs.
The marijuana weighted in at nearly eight pounds.
Luna was arrested and taken to the Charlotte County Jail, and has since bonded out.
