FORT MYERS, Fla. - Lee County Sheriff's Office has confirmed a workplace accident at Batista Farms left one person dead.
Deputies arrived at Batista Farms on Tamiami Trail in Fort Myers Wednesday afternoon and confirmed a workplace accident had occurred.
One person was confirmed dead at the scene, deputies said.
OSHA has been notified of the incident, and the investigation is ongoing.
