CHARLOTTE COUNTY, Fla. -- A Cape Coral man died Wednesday when a forklift toppled over at a Punta Gorda construction site.
61-year-old Luis Garcia was trauma alerted to the hospital but has passed away from his injuries.
According to Charlotte County Fire & EMS, it happened Wednesday morning at a work site on Scenic Drive in Punta Gorda.
First responders say Garcia was trapped under forklift when it overturned.
