COLLIER COUNTY, Fla. -- A woman is facing up to 35 years in prison after being convicted of impersonating an officer and robbery in an incident from 2018.

64-year-old Kathleen Ferrary was found guilty Wednesday , according to the State Attorney's Office, 20th Judicial Circuit.

Ferrary was arrested in June 2018 after an incident at a Naples apartment complex. Prosecutors say Ferrary approached the victim outside his apartment and claimed to be a police officer. She told him to leave, but when the victim said he lived there but didn't have his keys, Ferrary grabbed a bag containing his medication.

The victim grabbed the bag back, but Ferrary deployed a pink stun gun at him. She then grabbed the victim's phone and ran away.

Ferrary's sentencing is scheduled for June 14th.
