CHARLOTTE COUNTY, Fla. -- An Englewood woman is facing several charges after Troopers say she caused a chain reaction crash involving a Charlotte County deputy early Wednesday.
49-year-old Theresa Reeves is facing charges of DUI (drugs), DUI Property Damage, and Possession of Marijuana (less than 20 grams).
According to Florida Highway Patrol, Reeves was driving on U.S. 41 at Edgewood Drive just before 1 a.m. Wednesday and failed to stop behind traffic waiting at a red light. Her SUV rear-ended one car, which was pushed into a marked CCSO cruiser ahead of them.
No injuries were reported in the crash.
