CAPE CORAL, Fla. --- A woman arrested after being caught stealing from a local retailer.
According to investigators, 22-year-old Liudeibys Jimenez-Silva, went into Kohl's Department Store located on the 500 block of Southwest Pine Island Road.
An employee who reportedly noticed Jimenez-Silva leaving the store with a large amount of stolen goods, stopped her.
The Loss prevention employee told Jimenez-Silva that they watched her select several pieces of jewelry, clothing and sandals, taking them into the dressing room with her.
A Cape Coral Police reports states that Jimenez-Silva ripped tags off of the items and placed them into her purse.
Jimenez-Silva more than $800 worth of items.
Officers were called to the scene and arrested Jimenez-Silva for grand theft.
