FORT MYERS, Fla. - A woman is in hot water with the law. Lee County Sheriff's Deputies say she scalded her boyfriend while he was in Health Park Hospital in South Fort Myers.
Deputies say 37-year-old Gayla Scott got into an argument with her boyfriend while a nurse was giving him medication. They say she tossed a cup of hot water onto him, burning his right arm and chest.
Deputies tracked her down in the hospital lobby and arrested her. Scott is charged with aggravated battery.
