NAPLES, Fla. -- We're learning more details about the murder of a man in an RV early Thursday morning, and getting a first look at the Miami man accused of the killing.
Deputies say 39-year-old Brandon Jensen of Miami shot and killed another man in an RV parked behind the Carillon Place shopping center.
According to a Collier County Sheriff’s Office report, a witness told detectives that he and the victim were in the RV when around 3 a.m. he heard the door open and a man say “hey, bro.” The victim replied “who the **** are you?” That’s when the witness heard multiple gunshots and heard the suspect exit the RV.
The witness fled the RV on foot and went to a nearby gas station to call 911.
Responding deputies found Jensen at the scene standing waist-deep in the nearby retention pond, and appeared to have biological fluid on his face, hands, and clothing.
Jensen was taken into custody at the scene and taken to the Naples Jail Center, where deputies say he provided a confession. He is charged with murder.
The medical examiner declared the victim’s death a homicide, but did not yet establish a cause of death. The victim's identity has not been released yet.
Jenson is the owner of Rainaway Roofingin Miami.
